Has anyone used one of these book reader devices or something similar on the trail?
Apparently they will hold about 2000 books for a weight of about 7 oz and about 7000 page turns on a battery charge.
They are a bit expensive but I might treat myself to one before my Summer hike.
I usually start my hike with a good book in my pack but I find I am reluctant to leave it behind and usually cannot find another good book either at hiker boxes or trail towns. These readers sound as though they would fit the bill perfectly.
If you have used one, please let me know which model and how it worked for you.
