At the next Damascus town council meeting we're presenting a plan to create a free wireless network in Damascus which would cover the area from around Dot's to the town park, in phase one. There would be two other phases which would provide coverage for the entire town. We hope to have this up and running by Trail Days so vendors in the town park will have internet access. Several have been asking for this for years. This will be an unsecured system so doing your banking online will not be advised. More on this later.
