Just had Colcannon for the first time, then realized it would be easy to make Colcannon and modify it for Freezer bag cooking or dried for dinner, it is flavored and filling and easy to make.

Yep! I did a version a year or so ago....it was tasty! Let me find the recipe - I don't know if it is up on the site or not. Mine was different (I did the old school way of using potatoes/carrots/cabbage).

Looked at the recipe you posted....I have everything I need - I will do a version for lunch and post it tomorrow :)

Potatoes: Check!
Cabbage: Check!
Bacon: Check!
Butter powder: Check!
Pepper: Check!

= YUM!!!!!

Btw....I think I have a workable recipe. I am testing it currently..we will see if turns out! I should have it posted by tomorrow :)
