Howdy peoples. Just wanted to wish the class of 09 Good Luck and Happy Hiking. After getting off the trail on 12-12-08, I find myself sitting here at Neels Gap, on the trail AGAIN. I wish someone had told me that this was addictive before I had started last year. Hope to see you guys and gals down the trail. Peace

Shepherd! I met you last Sunday when I hiked up Springer to take pictures of our friends entries who finished sobo after us last year. It was good talking to you. Best of luck!

Ooooo Neels Gap... I'll be there in about three weeks. Thanks for the good wishes Shepherd, and as for the addiction--couldn't sleep last night for the longest because I was mentally packing and repacking to make sure I haven't forgotten anything... I'm stunned by the amount of cr*p I can fit in my pack. Arrrrgh must cut some corners!!! Now I'm NEVER gonna sleep...
