Anyone heading to Portland to the PCTA Trails Fest (http://www.pcta.org/Trail_Fest_2009/index.asp) in March?
I will be there with a couple friends - I am doing the vendor fair as well. So if anyone shows, come say hi!
I'd love to, especially since it is close by. But, I'm going to be crawling around some canyons down in Southern Utah. There are a lot of PCT hikers who live in Portland, so it should be well attended.
Yeah, it will be nice to get out as well - I did the 2007 Seattle one as well - but this year I am hoping on the Sunday after to finish a couple miles I have missing down by the Columbia River on the WA side - snow or not!

I'll be in the snow in Commonwealth Basin that weekend :(
If it's anything like Trail Days in Damascus, I won't be missing much though. It would be nice to see the people I started with in 2008 though. It was cool running into them again in WA.

Nothing like Trail Days, more like a conference. When did you start in '08? Do you make it to the KO?
Not too worry.....Twofourty is getting roped into another one of my delusional trips in Washington this summer :D He is a great hiking partner!
Btw, I will be doing a presentation as well there on trail food and other related stuff :)
