Hello--new to the forum. I've lived away from the Smokies for 18 years, but I try to get back every year or so. (Now, being in New England, I do a lot of hiking in NH and Maine.) Anyway, I've been putting some items on my blog about some great off-trail hikes in the Smokies that I've done in years past. The latest one is about getting to the Jumpoff from the bottom:

There are some other ones in there too, about Raven Fork, the Chimneys, and Big Duck Hawk. I will also be posting about climbing Charlies Bunion from the bottom.

Thought people here might be interested!
