Anyone had any experience with these Ziploc Vacuum seal bags? I just discovered them recently (new job stocking shelves at a grocery store to help pay for this year's hike haha) and they seem like a good idea, but wanted to ask around before I go buying anything. I found a review online that sounds pretty good, http://www.epinions.com/content_457812643460

Depends on what you are going to use them for. I have used them to store stuff in the freezer. You need the pump to create the vacum seal.

For the few mail drops I have I will use a regular freezer bags. My meals are individually packed in the freezer bag and I will do FBC.

I have one.

It was cheap and works well. We use it to freeze stuff but I don't see why it wouldn't work with hiker food as well.

I found that air seeped back in within a day or so. Maybe I wasnt doing it right. Ive gone back to the standard ziplock.

I think for the price they are great. I picked one up on sale for $2 which came with 3 bags. I suppose this is common sense, but if you lay the bag flat and pump the air out, it works much better.
