We are hiking the Allens gap to Erwin section first week of april. Is there a link on here or else where that has re-routes in that stretch. Also, What kind of weather to expect! We are NOOBS, most of us our first time out. We are calling it Baptism By Fire. One gentleman in our group has a trail book of that section but is a few years old.
