I think I can handle opening and closing the cash register OK. I just figured out our French Doors and we've been in this house for over four years. My wife tells me I do a good job cleaning our bathrooms. I just don't know about the daily commute from Murphy, NC....:)

My Mama used to say "A Sundog Outfitters without a Sundog is no Outfitter at all." She was the smart one in the family.

I'm currently job hunting..just got my outdoor leadership minor as well as a media degree.

I need a salary paying job unfortunately. Trying to find an asst. manager position in outfitting or outdoor retail.

Would like to eventually work for a big time gear/outdoor clothing manufacturer.

Most assistant manager or even manager positions at outfitters are by the hour and not salaried.

Even working for a reputable gear manufacturer, you may be paid in commission mostly or solely. It's a tough industry to make a buck at, but don't let that stop you if you love it

Yeah because alot of the positions im looking at are out of state im being forced to find a salary paying job. So before I delve deeper into the position I make sure its salary paying..even if its a low salary.

But I do love it. If not this, I'll be doing marketing/advertising or something.

I'm a total gear head though and am truly happy when I can talk to people about the outdoors and everything that goes with it. So that's what I think I should be doing.:o
