Now that I've got a Gregory Z, I notice there's no pocket for a water bottle. So, it looks like a need to drag myself into the current age: the "Age of the hydration bladder". Heavens! The drag would be a lot easier if I could figure out how the Z does hydration. There is a pocket for a bladder against the back, but where does the hose go? And if--by some miracle--you manage to route the hose out of the pack, where does the hose go then? And, what kind of bladder would be best (not a Platypus, please; they leak and the tops come off)?

Just got some answers on the Z from Gregory itself....Paul Gagner. Very helpful.

Sorry to hear yours leaked. I replaced my Camelbak with a Platypus and have had no problem leaking... perhaps I have been lucky!

I normally carry a 1 liter Platypus as a backup; I had been considering getting one of the 4 or 6 liter water bags for site use.
