Anyone have experience with any of the Saucony Trail runners?? The Progrid exodus doesn't look to bad. I ask because I can get killer deals on them. Thanks

Well. . . you can never have enough threads about trail runners. . . saucony makes a great running shoe but they're trail runners won't give you the support or the mileage that others (Northface - yes it's true - or about any of the others will).

is this where I get offended that you're talking about my local sports team and respond with lots of statistics "proving" that they are a top 5 team?

Maybe. . . but my team is Syracuse. . . so you'd prolly have an easier argument just citing their recent record (1-6). . . not sure how they're still ranked. . .

oh, well at least you're not yapping about the SEC or one of those Carolina schools.

Neither Duke or UNC will be in the final four. . .

I have a pair of Saucony's, I don't remember which model. They fit my feet great, one of the best fitting shoes I've ever owned. But the soles are too soft. My feet get really sore by the end of the day. Great around town though.

I watched Kyle Singler play his High School ball here. The kid was really amazing. But no, I'm not a Duke fan.

The new exodus haas a super sticky vibram sole in in it with a much stiffer last also. I run in them all of the time and wil not run in anything else. Looks like a pretty solid shoe really- I may get a pair anyways and try them. I will report on it later. Oh yeah, the Cards suck at consistency but they still seem to knock down the wins.

well I have to say I have a pair of their cohesion and I love em ..actually they are my favorite go to shoes here ,but alas we don't have many hills ..but I put in big miles quite frequently on my local trails and they perform flawlessly, the mesh lets them breath, drain, dry quickly..this is my 2nd pair in 3+ years with this pair at wayyyy over 500 miles on them and they are still looking and performing great..look into the cohesion if you are not mountain climeing.I am gonna have a pair sent to me around VA on the smoother parts of my thru

That is the one I was looking at, it has a really snug fit due to an internal elastic collar connecting the tongue to the footbed. The sole is very sticky. I think I will get them and report on them after a March trip before I start my thru.( much like the under armour shoes)
