That'd be light and you wouldn't need anything more than a Ti mug and esbit stove for your cooking - stick to stuff like this and adjust your tastes and calorie needs as you go. I eat like a horse, pig and hungry hiker all in one...I'd need more.

How are you going to heat up the hot pockets?

What's hot pocket? Isn't that one of those frozen food pastry thingies? Won't they thaw out and go bad over a period of time?

well im not gonna heat it up. im gonna eat it cold. i figure it will stay since it will be 30 degrees for my whole trip. PLus the flavor is much better than anything else one could make....arguably. Do you think i need more calories

How long are you going out for? Are you going to eat the same menu each day?

im going out for 3 days, 4 nights, 40 miles. Yes approx the same menu each day. i might buy different flavor tuna packets, hot pockets, and poptarts. I just added string cheese to each meal.

Looks OK to me...you'll survive. It will make that 1/2# greasy cheeseburger taste so much better at the end of your hike! :)

Except that I added jelly, your lunch menu is what I ate for lunch almost every day on my thru.

I don't think you have enough "bulk" for supper. I'd add something.

1 ounce of snacks per day is way too little. Gorp, power bars, fig newtons -- add something.

I prefer oatmeal or cold cereal for breakfast. Don't think I've ever had a hot pocket in my life; so I'm not going to comment one way or the other.

Bring a couple of sticks of butter. Won't go bad, will add calories and taste.
