Matthewski and Bearpaw, oh what a match. Two AT hikers. Neither with patch. With all that bobing out on the trail, I was surprised that Matthewski had time to chase tail. But what a wonderful woman Matty did find, and when I look at Matty I think, "She must be blind". But there's no accounting for love, or so it's been said. And the proof is that these two now share the same bed. Let's just hope this couple does not procreate. One Matty's enough. More might not be so great. Congrats guys.

Yea, but if you are married for 10 years you could claim 50% of her Social Security Benefits as non-working spouse.

and basically this is what it boils down to. hatred, nastiness and greed in the divorce. love is wonderful

You were too quick on the keyboard. I changed my post on the odd chance this thread was serious. Nothing wrong with taking advantage of SS benefits though, Wolf. Getting the spousal SS benefits does not diminish those of the primary wage earner. They are "extra". Not a bad deal for those who never had a paycheck and stayed married 10 years or more.

Sorry to swerve this romantic thread.

It's definitely serious. Matty and Bearpaw were at my house a couple of weeks ago for Jester's party and they definitely are getting married. Just goes to show - there's a lid for every pot. Everyone at the party was surprised and happy for them. Love them both.

Institution huh?? Only kidding.., Bearpaw and Matty that institution like anything else for that matter is "what you make it". By the way, where are you registered so that we may get you the appropriate wedding gift.., or do you just want to offer some suggestion. Better yet I'm sure someone out there has some suggetions for gifts.
