I did this last year (only did 50 miles to Dickie Gap) but it was a blast. I purged all the adult beverages that I'd consumed at Trail Days, met a lot of FAST thru hikers and had some great scenery. This section hike introduced me to hammocking and I may buy one at TD's this year. I would then have to test it out on the trail - see you there!

Thanks. What was the weather like when you did it? I'm hoping a Driclime jacket and a rainjacket will be enough.
