Join the other macho men with sewing machines over on hammockforums.net for all the discussions about homemade gear, then use Just Jeff's pattern from tothewoods.net. Of course you'll want to post all the photos at hammockforums.net so all the other guys will be jealous.

Of course, I suggest you just save yourself the aggravation and just buy a Warbonnet Blackbird. You'll find info about them on hammockforums.net. Wish I'd done that before I bought my other hammocks. Why is it I always spend money, thinking I'm saving, but end up upgrading in the end?
