Hey has anyone ever been here before. I am heading there at the end of the month with younger but larger brothers.
I already got one afraid of the bears.

Anything anyone can tell me about the trail would be great.
The website didn't have much

Nice trail with a couple of great shelters (fire wood supplied!!). Plently of options to shorten the loop so if the group changes plans.....no big deal.

These guys are in that area all the time: http://www.neohbackpackingclub.com/home.aspx Usually they have a lot of trail info if you click on "More" on the right hand side of the top level navigation bar. Plenty of bailout potential. I presume you saw this already: http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/oilcreek/oilcreek_mini.pdf Looks like DCNR hasn't quite yet gotten around to revising that particular map with contours as they have in many other State Parks. So I'll give you a hint: away from Oil Creek is up; towards Oil Creek is down; and you can see there's a lot of both. :D
