I have been to the mountaintop and I took a gander. It is called Gander Mountain and it is an outfitters store on Highway 40 in Ocala. While they may not have the best backpacker's equipment, they have tons of outdoors stuff and fishing and hunting stuff, too. I will definitely be heading back there next time my ship comes in.

I'd point out that there ain't no stinkin' mountains in Florida...but the closest thing they have to mountains are stinkin', all right.
(Seein' as how they're garbage heaps, an' all...)

meh. We've got one in here in North Alabama, I'd rate them about equal w/ Dick's Sporting Goods. Mostly Kelty, Eureka and Slumberjack stuff. You can catch a good deal on boots there occasionally. Decent selection of TNF and Columbia clothing. And their house brand stuff is decent.
