I'm going backpacking in the Smokies this weekend to Mt. Sterling and Mt. Cammerer.

If Louisville ends up playing in the Big East Tournament on Friday and Saturday I would like to listen to the game. I know WHAS radio can be heard across the country at night but I don't know what station I would pick the game up on in NC or TN.

Any Tennessee or NC Card fans know what station WHAS is there?

Thanks,

MTS

I dunno man. I grew up in Knoxville and I would say that the only game you might get in the smokies would be SEC affiliated. Unless perhaps the Louis game is on ESPN radio. I have since move but i think espn radio in Knoxville is 1180am.

ESPN is broadcasting the game, so should be a radio simulcast from Knoxville.

99.1 FM The Sports Animal. I don't listen on week ends. But if the Vols are playing anything you hear it. Football, Basketball, Table Tennis ect. Good Luck. I do think they do Fox Sports when not covering the Vols.

Here's a link to affiliates in the U of L radio network. None real near the Smokies. Your best bet would be to try and pick up WHAS.

Dont know if this helps, ut I have certainly picked up WHAS on the other side of the Smokeys while travelling north on I-95 in North Carolina. It comes in very clear at 6:00 pm
