Anybody using (or used) this quilt? Wondering how actual performance has been vs. stated temp rating, and how used - by itself, with or without pad straps, etc. Thx.

I took the straps off. They kind of just got in my way.

I'm skinny enough that the sides can wrap all the way around me. No real need for the straps.

I havn't gotten it down to the 20 degree rating. But I'm pretty sure it won't make it. I used it in the 30's and was a little cool.

Straps - this was my initial impression as well.

I just got this the other day. Seems warmer than I initially expected, but no way its got 5" loft as advertised.

Does it seem a little short? I'm 5'10" and have the regular which is supposed to be for 6' - I'm actually considering getting the long, although its probably a dead on fit, just no room to spare.

I thought the regular was a little short for me, but it did keep me warm in the upper 20s with a base layer, balaclava, and wool socks. I got a long, but sent it back since it had some problems with a lack of fill in some chambers. I used the straps.

I have one and love it. I also took the straps off.
