What is a favorite light or ultralight sleeping pad ???
Favorite lightweight sleeping pad? Probably a closed cell pad such as the Z-rest.

I use the thermarest ultralight 3/4. I also carry a 4 section piece of a Z-rest to use as a seat on the ground as well as under my feet at night. Have used that system for quite a while now and used it on my thru last year.
Works for me ...

Ashamed to admit i've tried so many - but there's ony one true love for me; the smooth comfort of the Link-Rest! the fact that it's cheap & light is just a bonus. i choose it for the comfort.
okay --- thermarest ridgerest -- i tried it --- it's okay -- but, the prolite 3 pad! man, i can sleep on that pad in a shelter, on my hip! not superlight, but light AND comfortable.
