Hey im hiking PA into virginia this summer and was wondering if there are any camping restrictions in pine grove furnace state park outside of camp grounds and shelters?

pretty sure they don't allow camping unless you're "thru'ing" along the trail. there's lots of camp sights there but you have to pay like $7 a night
PGFSP is surrounded by State Forest. If ya don't want to pay the fee, hike a little further or not as far and camp in the woods.
In Pa camping is not permitted in any Start Park except in designated camping spots. That said there are shelters on both side of Pine Grove Forest State Park. toms Run Shelter is 3.7 miles sputh of the park and James Frye )Tagg Run) Shelter is 7.2 miles north of the Park.
