Bill of White Box Stoves sent me out one to play with and I had a lot of fun playing with it.

Original WB on the left, Solo on the right:

It is 1 1/2" high and the stove with accessories comes in at 2.2 ounces. Boiled 2 cups 35* water in about 6 1/2 minutes in my HAA GSI Kettle - I will be playing around with other pots in the near future as well. For those wanting to know outside temps - upper 30*'s with a good wind.

I shot a video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jun7aGqdmO0) as well.

Bill is shipping me out a bunch on Monday - I have them up for pre-ordering on my website as of tonight :)

Bill said he probably will have them up for sale on his site in the next week.

oh its just smaller? boo i want one twice as big to hold 6 ounces of fuel i looooove to boil, i just now cooked potato soup with the original Whitebox, not sure how long it took and i wasnt sure how well it was going to work so i just chopped the potato into real small diced pieces added the onion and chicken broth and just put it on top when it was fully roaring, it came it really well with a bit of pepper and some yellow mustard stirred in.

Uhh probably not, Heinys work better with a vertical jet. Or you have to get the wind sheild 1/4 away all around.

Look into the remote fueled stoves. Zelph over at bplite.com is developing two nice, compact units based on his "Starlyte" design.
