Anyone remember Rotten Rodney? I think he thru hiked in the 80's or 90's
My erstwhile hiking partner in '06, Snapshot, spent several days in Maryland hiking with Rotten Rodney and his brother, Old Blue. They were out for a section. Among other old-school practices, they cooked over a wood fire every night.
Where'd you run into him?

Well Marta you would be surprised he is well versed in construction and his mother is in bad shape so he is in Wilmington Delaware. Fixing up properties and planning his next state section.
