My home made silnylon bottom / DWR top / bug mesh hood bivy is terribly threadbare and needs replacement. I don't have access to my Mom's sewing machine on the other side of the country, so I need to get a new one in the next few weeks before I leave for my first thru hike of the Summer, the Grand Enchantment Trail around April 20.
Anyone here have one they'd want to sell? Want to make me one? (I'd pay you.) Looking for something not much more than about 6 oz, silnylon bottom, basic DWR or similar top, and with some sort of bug protection. My home made one looked a lot like the Oware ones sold on BPL, to give you an idea:
