50 sure is looking younger than I ever remember it

what concerns me is that the last 50 years has flown by.

Can't do May. I have to wait until July. Long wait.

bah humbug, age is just a number.... I remember feeling old when I turned 40 lol. My husband gave me a kiddy birthday party at McDonalds... I hoped to be done with the AT by 60... but looks like I'll still be working on it in my 70s. Jodannajr, if you'd consider hiking with an old lady, I am hoping to be hiking western VA the end of April, first couple of weeks of May - up to Traildays. I have about 250 miles I hope to do. PM me if interested.

Thanks for the invist to hike along with you but I think you are going to be a bit further south than I can travel at this time.
Old is just in the mind on the owner. Thats why the topic is "Calling all 50ish Youths", Youths should have been underscored.

I started when I was 18 and finished in 2007 and I'm sure I don't hold the record. Keep on hiking!

Wow! I was going to be doing my next section in May, now I am not due to a big change at work. (I changed employers).

May of 2010 is in the planning stage, so keep me in mind for around then.

FWIW: I would like to start in Atkins VA. But pretty much anywhere N of there is OK by me.
