I just bought a 6 liter Dromedary bag. Yeah i think it sounds a bit over sized being 6L but I can buy a hydration kit (bite valve and tube) and it works great for a pillow by adding a little air and covering with a shirt or it can be used as a hot/cold water bag for sore joints and mussles and the weight is only 8.6oz . However the cap is the same size as a Nalgene bottle on the outside diameter but the inside diameter is smaller making it unable to hook up to my MSR Sweetwater filter. Do you think it would be safe to sand the inside down to make the hole larger it's just plastic right and is something like this even practal to bring on a thru hike?
