maps and guidebooks

no, dont worry, not another thread on "do i need guidebooks, databooks, maps, cookbooks or books on tape?" i already know what im bringing for books. and i want maps, some people say you dont need them, most say you do. either way, im one of those map people. just love em. cant live without em. that being said, i dont want or need the individual state guidebooks but it seems that buying the whole kit and kaboodle is the only way to get the maps. is there anywhere i can get JUST the maps without anything else?

I just picked up 2 maps for my section hike in Va. for this summer. Its not a problem to purchase just the indivual maps needed or all of them from ATC.

Look for a set for sell here (used gear) or buy the complete set as mentioned above. If you buy them one at a time, it'll cost you an arm and leg.
