Leaving on Saturday to hike Luray Va. to Harpers Ferry. Was looking to resupply at the Bears Den hostel, was wondering what kind of resupply food is available there. Do they carry freeze dried meals, lipton sides, or is it all snack food. Are there any tips or sites to this section that will and to my hike?

I'd call Bears Den and direct your question there. Try (540)554-8708. Other options would be Front Royal or several small convenience stores near Snickers and Keys Gap.

Front Royal has a grocery store that will do the trick, along with a great breakfast place.

Bear's Den had some Lipton sides when I was there a couple years ago. Calling ahead is always the best option.
