Is anyone planning to start a thru from springer on May 1st? I want to do Springer to Neels and am hoping to be out with some thru hikers.

I started at Springer May 10 for my section last summer and there were a solid amount of thrus and long distance sectioners.

My wife and I start April 19th, so if you hike fast, you can catch us!
I left Springer on April 24. Its nice to be behind the crowd.
Btw, my brother started his 2nd thru-hike two days ago.

still 15 days to go cant wait !
