How many conscientious folks here would be interested in forming an East Coast chapter(s)?

That website has some serious bugs, quite a few of the links to articles did not work.

Check your browser settings. I've had no problems.

It certainly is an attention getter. Do I think tits and ass will stop the harvesting of trees? No. Amusing? Yes. If she wants to bare all, fine. If she wants to hinder operations, either escort her off the premises or call the authorities. One thing I don't get is the singing. Sure it's feel-good, but it does nothing.

What are you, a pencil pusher for the timber industry? Spend your days calculating the value of old growth redwoods in board feet sales dollars?

I'm in favor of any tactic that will save an old growth forest or delay its demise. If you're not, then I want those trees spiked with you operating the chainsaw.

A redwood will live over 1,000 years, a human will live around 75. Now tell me, whose life is more valuable?

Your shock tactics draw parallels to those of the NRA. Two different ideas from two very different camps, but the same end-of-the-world shock tactics for soliciting funds or membership.

THE WORDS OF EDWARD ABBEY

"Government: If you refuse to pay unjust taxes, your property will be confiscated. If you attempt to defend your property, you will be arrested. If you resist arrest, you will be clubbed. If you defend yourself against clubbing, you will be shot dead. These procedures are known as the Rule of Law."
