I work at the Mathers Museum of World Cultures at Indiana University and am on the board of the A.T. Museum Society. I'm beginning research on the idea of a collaborative effort involving both organizations to produce a traveling exhibition about the sub-culture of thru-hiking - and I need your help. I'm especially interested in hearing from the Class of 2001 (which is when my husband, "Tent-N-Kent," and I, "Toccoah," were on the Trail), because I'm thinking about focusing parts of the exhibition on the '01 hikers. Plans are to produce the exhibit to premiere at the Mathers March 2011, to coincide with the tenth anniversary of when many of the northbounders started that year.
