Any one here ever done this hike? It's just under 20 miles and the book I have says to leave the tent at home because there are shelters. Wondering what the shelters are really like and if they're worth leaving the tent behind? Or is this a popular hike that fills up the shelters on the weekends?
Any help appreciated. :)
If you have not found your answer yet you might contact these guys, they would probably know since they are very familiar with the area. I have not been there yet but it is in the plans for this summer.
I guess telling you who "these guys" are would be helpful...lol
