Anyone Interested in a nice hike come join us on the Old Logger Path Trail In Pa. next weekend. We will meet at the Masten Ghost Town parking area around 10:00 Friday morning. Its a 27 mile hike, I never hiked but but heard its nice with good water. The Pa trail info rates it at easy to moderate hike. We are thinking 2, 10 mile days and 7 on Sunday. I'll be hanging and 2 of my friends will be tenting.

Hangman, is it a loop trail or a in and back? I have not been on it and I don't have my maps at the moment.---Two Tents

This is actually one of the trails I have scheduled for this year as well, being that it is a loop trail and within driving distance from home.

If you don't mind, would you post an update with how the trip went or anything that I should be aware of before going on my own (such as: how well was the trail maintained, how well is it marked, how easy it is to find water sources?)? I'd love to go with others but we already have other plans for a different hike on the dates you are going, so...maybe next time!

It's a great trail. Wish I could join you.

There's no bridge over Pleasant Run. Be prepared for knee deep water and a swift current unless the water is really low.

It's very well marked and maintained. Ticks will be an issue. You'll meet fishermen and/or hunters depending on season.

Plenty of trees for hanging.

Have a great time!
