Does anyone have any experience with the Sierra Stove?

My wife tried one on her thru hike and it lasted about 500 miles before a weld broke. She was going to upgrade to the stainless (or titanium maybe) model but the company had none in stock. So someone made her a pepsi can stove and she still uses that after eight years.
