Hey check it out!!! On page 23 of the A.T. Journeys Magazine, our very own 2008 Thru-Hiker - PEANUT is in the issue!!!!
Heard from the publisher she "donated" $500.00 to get it in there... :D ... ooops ... probably wasnt suppose to say that .... :p.
Congrats Peanut, very cool!!

Hey Peanut, it's good to see your smiling face made it into the mag!
Just earlier this week I was talking with Tinker about upcoming plans to hike a section of the VT Long Trail. He said he heard you were going to be crooing at one of the shelters there sometime in the next few months. Is that so? Post back, or send me a PM or email so I can be sure to visit while you are there.

She is out hiking now - she texted me she is rain soaked at the moment and having a great time.

I got my new ATC magazine today in the mail and just in time. I'm staying at the hospital tonight with my mother-in-law who had surgery to repair a broken hip, and I was needing something to read. I haven't opened it yet and didn't know you were featured until WW started this thread.
