Hi all!
I like the looks of the Moonbow Gearskin.
Unfortunately, I'm on a VERY limited income (too many ex-wives, :banana )
Has anyone made one? It looks simple enough.
Thanks, 2 Fingers

My brother has one. I took down about all of the dimensions. I'll gladly photo copy them and send you a copy.

You are correct, though, they do appear to be fairly simple to make.

THANKS tlbj6142!!!!!!
I'm really interested in seeing how the hip and load stablizers are attached to the pack itself.
Any demensions or photos would really help.

2 Fingers,

Make sure that you put alot of reinforcement on the spots where the clips for the sides of the pack meet: it is put under ALOT of stress!!! I have a gearskin, and really love it, and the quality of the work Jon does really helps the pack be what it is. Shoddy workmanship would render the pack just about useless, becuse the stresses would rip it apart

2 FingersNothing magic about how the hipbelt is attached. It is just sewn right in with a lot of stitching and bar tacks. Sewing the load stabilizers is easy, weaving the straps through the 2-3 buckles is a bit weird.

I'll gather up my notes and photos and contact you later this week.
