Just a quick question because I don't have my guide or anything here with me at work. Can you mail drop fuel cannisters? I'm talking about the iso-butane type of fuel, because i'm pretty sure you can't ship the white fuel.

I remember someone mentioning recently that an advantage of a new smaller cannister was its ability to be mailed. That would imply that there may be a size restriction and it was not direct from the USPS so take it with a grain of salt. I would call your local postmaster and see what they say.

Yes you can. Surface mail only. It can't go by plane.

Someone jsut told me that they were able to ship white (coleman) fuel? How could they have done that??

was going to direct him to this as well. shipped mine last year no problem. my post office was a little confused as i seemed more knowledgeable on the subject than they, but be patient, someone working there will know what you're talking about and hook you up with the right labels :sun

Grounds ship sigg or MSR aluminum bottles. One should always carry a spare.
