It's closed. It's for sale. Mountainman doesn't own the place, the lady that owns the Apple House B&B does. He owns a lot of the equipment and that's it. I wish someone more community oriented would buy it and run a nice diner. Mountainman only wanted hikers, not locals.

What are they asking for it, and does the price include any equipment?

I think $57,000. Tables , chairs and some equipment go with it. Call Mrs. Reese at 276-475-5261 for the real scoop.

This would be a great opportunity for YOU to flip a few burgers in your spare time between hikes & your new Harley! hehehehehehe :D

We stayed @ the Apple Tree B&B this past week for a couple days (as you know)..& even asked Beth Reese about the Cafe...& she had no idea of MountainMan's intentions. But, you are correct she DOES own the building...& she has now SOLD the B&B & is moving back to her native Louisiana.
