I was at Wal-Mart the other day and in their shoe section they had some sandals that were made of foam rubber. They weren't flip-flops, so you could wear socks with them, and the soles looked like they were pretty cushy. The name on them was something like Surf and Sand or something, and they were $4.83. I have no idea what the weight was, but they were lighter than most flip-flops...
