My dog chewed the strap of my Go-Lite Breeze, my favorite pack, and I'm hoping some of you fine folks may have a suggestions for a quick fix.

Any suggestions or advice are welcome and much appreciated. Be well!

Depends on how chewed up it is. If some of the flat strap is chewed, just sew another piece of webbing of about the same width and thickness
http://thru-hiker.com/materials/rollgoods.php
If the strap is completely destroyed, http://thru-hiker.com/materials/hardware.php sells premade shoulder straps.
http://www.gossamergear.com/cgi-bin/gossamergear/myog.html has directions for making a pack that you can use to figure out how to replace it if you have to. Google for make your own pack to find more directions.
If you are too intimidated by sewing, get a friend or relative to show you how or hire a seamstress or tailor to do it.
Or simplest of all: send it back to the manufacturer for repair.

Thanks SL, very comprehensive. She gnawed it straight in half and left it be, like she was sayin "Yep, you won't be usin THAT for a while!"

I'll take a run at it and see whats what. Thanks again and be well!

If you sew another piece of webbing on, make sure you use nylon thread. Cotton will tear in probably one use. Nylon thread is great.
