Well I already got my park pass for when we leave this weekend to head out west. Doesn't help me anyway. :(

Three weekends to NOT go to the park. Holy crowds batman! :D

Seriously, I think it is a good thing. If it gets people out to one of the crown jewels on the US (our national parks), that's awesome! I just hate crowds. :O

I'm with you, why couldn't it have been the whole week? Weekends are bad enough especially in the Smokies (not that there's a fee, just a for-instance, and its the closest to me).

With the price of gas headed uphill, it may not be crowded at some of the more remote parks. If you can afford the fuel, you can afford the entry fees.

Should be even more zooey here. Oh weeee!

I just got back for Zion, Bryce and GC. I was use to east coast time so I was getting up all super early...I found out if you go to Zion around sun up (best time to get on the trails), the gates are wide open and there's no one there to collect any entrance fee. I already had a annual pass, so it didn't really help me out
