Just bought this at campmor. Nice and bright. gonna test it out soon and see if its sufficient.

It should work great in Alaska in the summer...where it doesn't get dark.

Not super great as a primary light. I carry one on a lanyard as a quick access light. I use it in and around the tent/shelter, but still carry a headlamp if I need to be walking around after dark.
