Section hiking this summer in Vermont. I wanted to get some advice on trail conditions, bugs, temps, re-supply in this section. Any advice would help.

How many days will you be out? Resupply is not a problem. You can mail a package to that Inn - sorry the name escapes me - or buy in Killington or Rutland or Manchester. Plenty of road crossings where you can head into a town and resupply. Bugs will depend on temperature and moisture. Found this to be a real nice section to hike. For what its worth.

Planning on being out 8 days. I was not sure how accessible the towns were from the trail.

For some reason hitching in Vermont is pretty easy....like down south. Bennington, Manchester and Rutland are all friendly trail towns but require a 4 to 6 mile hitch.

You could easily get a week of 80+ degree days and thunderstorms, or more moderate temps. Vermont is great like that.
July will probably be the tail end of the bug season.
Beautiful time to be hiking.
