I use to live in Whidbey Island, Washington and love the state. Almost thought about retiring there. I ended up coming back home. Washington state is to far from the AT for me now.

My bro lives on Whidbey Island, loves it. But King County has the same problems good and bad as most large cities.

I know, three thousand miles away from the main subject of this board and we're posting away!:D Maybe I should've phrased this differently, I didn't mean to imply Seattle was a better city, just that there are quite a few of us (a whopping four) living here.
Any other cities or towns that have a few Whiteblaze members? Maybe this is like driving any car for the first time... you begin to notice other cars of the same make and model on the street.

Seattle's settled into a sleepy backwater since Kurt Cobain kicked the bucket.
