China Town Buses

Anyone out there familiar with them? gotobus.com. My son has used them for years up and down the East coast, between cities, and they only go as far north as Boston, but they are cheaper than other public modes of travel. I am going from VA to NYC on them and then switching to Greyhound to Bangor, etc. Just thought it might be useful to someone.

they are usually advertised as a ride for a $1? Is that true?

VA to NYC for $35--check the site for your needs. Often they are close to greyhound stations (same place in Boston) so that you might go to Boston via gotobus.com and continue to Bangor on Greyhound with ease.
