Does anyone have any experience with getting to town from the trail at Deep Gap? How about long-term parking (about 4-5 days) near deep gap?

I'm planning on parking there, then having a shuttle take me to Neels Gap, where I'll start my hike. Any ideas for shuttles?

Sorry for being such a noob when it comes to shuttles and hitchhiking, any help would be appreciated though.

Are you sure you meant Deep Gap in Ga? The shelter "Deep Gap" is located 3.5 miles South from Dick's Creek Gap on the outskirts of Hiawassee. Plenty of parking at DCG. Are you thinking maybe Deep Gap NC?
If this is the case, call Joyce Monroe at 706-896-9339. They are the closest for a shuttle.
