I took my son to REI this PM to look for a laptop bag and it turned out to be a scratch and dent sale day. While he was looking for a backpack, I wandered over to the S&D section where I found a Big Agnes SL1 for $75! It was marked returned as being leaky. I can apply seam sealer with the best of them, so I brought it home and ran the sprinkler on it for a half hour plus direct force with a hose on every seam on the fly and I never could find a leak. I'm a happy camper.
This means I'll be posting an original Shires tarptent for sale in a day or 2, probably for $50.00 shipped.

Someone probably set it up wrong. Good for you though. That will be a great deal on the Tarptent.
LOL....i just bought an SL1 yesterday from REI. Except i paid full price. The garage sale at mine isnt until July 25 and i couldnt wait that long. Congrats on the buy!
