Thru-Hike Documentary on DVD

I just noticed that "TREK" is now available on DVD at Amazon.com. I have the VHS version myself, but the DVD was just released. I REALLY loved it, so let me just plug it a little...

I would recommend this flick to anyone that has any interest in thru-hiking to get an idea of what you might encounter. If you have thru-hiked and want to experience some real nostagia for trail life, or you want to show your non-hiking friends what you went through, get this film.

Supposedly the guys that made the movie (and are the main characters) have another film about cross-country bicycling. Is this out yet? Has anyone seen it?

Cool, thanks. I've been wanting to see this, but hesitant to buy it on VHS (for some odd reason).

I am also looking forward to their cross-country bike video. (Since, if all goes well, that will be my next adventure as well). It looks like they are still editing it.

I, too, purchased it on VHS & would've preferred DVD version.
