Thru-hikers rolling thru Kent, CT...

Had a great section hike in CT this wknd.. saw a bunch of thru-hikers rolling through the area.. including Spot, Centauri, Wildman and others. Had some great conversations with these guys at the Silver Hill campsite.

Fell asleep listening to a screech owl and a pack of coyotes howling. Next day we saw a 4-foot rattlesnake near Hanglider View, overlooking Lime Rock racetrack.

Spot went out of his way to introduce himself to me while I was eating lunch alongside the Walkill River outside of Unionville on June 26th. He continues to make good time, having left Springer on April 1st, with about 120 miles done this past week. 30-30 and Giggles should be close behind.

I had a great conversation with Spot.. he's on his 5th thru-hike. And it shows - he was tearing up the trail.
