If you built a thru hiker sized paiute deadfall and set it up on the trail -- what would you use as bait?
Would it be money, beer, batteries?
Would it be different at the start, middle and end of the trail?

Hmmm, I can get all that other stuff while hiking, but how about a beautiful, sexy, hiker babe ? I can feel myself free falling now,,,,, and yeah , be the same beginning, middle or end,,,, heck, even months after its all over, lol.

At the start, first week or so, I suspect money would do the trick.
After that, FOOD! Any food you don't/cant carry on the trail. For me BACON would do the trick even if I knew it was a trap. But, it would have to be ALOT of bacon, 15 - 20 Lbs or more. You know, a snack sized portion. :p

Hey, I'll take cold, 8 layers of clothing and extremely smelly. As long as she can walk without poles is fine with me. Alright she can even use poles, but no walkers (at least for another few years).
depending on the weather...either a hot tub and cold beer or a cool pool and cold beer!
